Message	No I didn't do any investigating since I wasn't interested in buying another FPC if it was going to blow again. In all the cases I've heard of FPC's blowing on this forum, they were all from 1990 Z's. And apparently Nissan changed the Fuel Pump Controllers I believe after 1991. So as one solution, you could find a friend with a later style FPC and see if you still get an electronic burning smell. 1990 Nissan 300ZXTT Stage III+ 11.96 e.t. 1.61 60ft on original stock turbos
